A tooling mildew is CNC machining the heart and soul of the injection molding machine. They are rigorously designed to contain the adverse cavity for the product design and additional features corresponding to sprues, runners, gates, vents, ejector systems, cooling channels, and moving elements. Tooling molds are made out of particular grades of metal and aluminum that may withstand tens of 1000's of heating and cooling cycles, corresponding to 6063 aluminum, P20 metal, H13 metal, and 420 chrome steel.
